River Restoration: Jeff Crane, author of “Finding the River: An Environmental History of the Elwha” will talk about river restoration in the context of Washington State’s Elwha River. Wednesday, June 13, 7 p.m. at Grass Roots Books & Music. Discussion followed by a book signing. Crane describes his personal history with the Elwha River in an OSU Press blog post.

NEW! Researchers on Radio: Inspiration Dissemination is a program focused on students actively involved in research on OSU’s radio station, KBVR. Last Lecture: Please join us for the last official lecture at OSU for (now Emeritus) Professor of Environmental Engineering Ken Williamson as he discusses the Existential Challenges for Engineering Education. He will speak Friday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to noon in Gleeson Hall, Room 200.

Soccer Day Camp: Sign-up today – OSU Soccer Day Camp will be held Tuesday, June 26 through Friday, June 29 in the Merrit Truax Indoor Center from 9 a.m. to noon. Camp is open to girls and boys entering grades 1-6. Cost is $95 including a camp t-shirt. Registration is open for girls and boys.

Traffic and Maintenance

Campus Wide: Due to annual maintenance on the campus steam distribution system, Facilities Services will need to temporarily shut down all steam services to campus from June 18-21. This will affect all hot water and heating services.
