Today in the News Media is a synopsis of some of the most prominent coverage of OSU people and programs. Inclusion of any item constitutes neither an endorsement nor a critique, but rather is intended only to make the OSU community aware of significant items in the media.

The College of Forestry is inviting to anyone wishing to attend their upcoming Safe Space training on Monday, 2-4 p.m., June 7, RH 313 (Richardson Hall). This will be the final Safe Space training workshop of the 2009-2010 academic year.We will offer the next Safe Space training at the beginning of the Fall, 2010-2011 academic year, and can provide departmental workshops on request at that time. To request a workshop, please complete the e-form you will find here. Safe Space workshops, provided by the LGBT Advocacy Team in the Office of LGBT Outreach & Services, is an ally training program for anyone wishing to become a more knowledgeable ally to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and intersex campus community, especially students. Attendance is strictly voluntary. The Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center (http://www.rockefellerfoundation.org/bellagio-center) brings together people of diverse expertise and backgrounds in to promote innovation and impact on a wide range of global issues. International Programs is hosting an information session about opportunities for faculty to apply for short-term residencies on June 10, 10 a.m. in Snell Hall 448.
