Association of Retired Oregon Public Employees

The Association of Retired Oregon Public Employees (A.R.O.P.E.) is an Oregon non-profit corporation whose purpose is to enhance the economic and social welfare of persons who have retired from public service in the State of Oregon. Its membership, most of whom reside within a 25-mile radius of Corvallis, includes university, school district, city and county retirees.

A.R.O.P.E. meets regularly at noon on the second Tuesday of January, March, July, September, and November at Adair Club House (home of Valley Catering) in Adair Village. These buffet-luncheon meetings provide the membership and other interested persons opportunities for social interaction with friends and colleagues as well as keeping them up to date on legislation and other activities that may be related to their economic and social welfare. Programs also feature general interest topics.

Voting members are Oregon PERS retirees or surviving spouses of Oregon PERS retirees. Associate membership is open to other persons who support the activities and purposes of A.R.O.P.E. Annual membership dues are $6 for Members and $2 for Associate Members.
