Interest Groups


Folk Club Interest Groups are open to all members who have paid their dues for the current year. Interest groups provide a way to meet new people, learn new things, and have fun! If you have any questions, want to participate, or wish to form a new group, contact Carolyn Miller 541-745-7030 (millerc@proaxis.com).

Adventures in Dining:

Singles and couples are welcome. Join us for hosting or cooking, then dining in groups of 8, 10, or 12. Recipes are provided; ingredient costs shared.  Judy Miller, chair  541-754-1291.

Antiques & History:

Meet in members’ homes or go on field trips to explore antiques, collectibles, and learn some history.

Book Clubs:

Monday evening, meets 3rd Monday of the month at 7:30 pm  Pat Wallace (541-752-8578) and Bev Clark (541-753-4456), chairs.  Accepting new members.
Tuesday afternoon, meets 2nd Tuesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. Pat Nice, chair  541-753-2021.  Currently full.
Thursday afternoon, meets last Thursday of the month at 1:00 p.m. Beverly Arthur, chair   541-745-7568.  Currently full.

International Visitors:

This group is focused on helping OSU International women make more community links and meets the 2nd Friday of each month between 10:30 and 12:30 at the Corvallis Multicultural Literacy Center.  Please contact JaneAnne Warkentin for more information; 541-754-8875 or Marilyn Bervin at 541-929-5633.

Mahjong--The American Version:
