OSU THRIFT SHOP GRANT REQUEST INFORMATION AND APPLICATION FOR 2013
2013 Grants Applications will be available at the Thrift Shop and on this website on January 1, 2013 and must be postmarked by, or hand-delivered to the Thrift Shop, no later than 5:00 pm. on January 31, 2013.

Please print out and complete the form on this page and return with your application or stop by the Thrift Shop for a printed copy. You may also use the "contact us" link at the bottom of the home page and we will email you the form and guidelines as attachments. Thank you.
Application Guidelines
The OSU Folk Club Thrift Shop Foundation, a 501(c) (3) organization, allocates funds to non-profit organizations in Benton County, Oregon. In 2012, $40,000 was awarded to 43 Benton County non-profit social-service organizations.
We are pleased to fund:
- Social service organizations
- Groups that benefit the youth and seniors of the community
- Community enhancement projects
- Fixed assets that will be of future benefit to the organization receiving them.
We do not fund:
- Organizational start-up expenses
- Wages or stipends
- Something that benefits only one individual
- Mileage reimbursement
- Monthly expenses, such as telephone charges, postage, membership materials
- Nationally recognized service organizations
- School groups, unless they have 50/50 matching funds
- OSU campus ministry groups, academic departments, and student organization and housing groups.
- Scholarships for program tuition, summer camps, etc. unless/until other needs have been met.
Requests must list individual prices for each item that is requested. If you are requesting multiple items, please list them in priority order.
WE WILL MAIL NOTIFICATION OF OUR DECISION ON YOUR REQUEST BY APRIL 30, 2013.
If we approve the grant, our letter will state how the funds must be used. You must use the funds for the stated purpose within one year or return the money to the Thrift Shop.
