OSU 2007 campus forums scheduled for January

A series of open forums are scheduled for this month to solicit campus input into the OSU 2007 process.

In addition to the forums, leaders of the OSU 2007 process are meeting with academic deans, department heads and other campus leaders to explain the initial proposals that have been brought forward. Last month, OSU 2007 leaders met with Oregon Public Employee Union leadership and the Professional Faculty Leadership Association.

"We are using these forums to solicit input from the campus community," said Becky Johnson, chair of the OSU 2007 process. "They are an important part of the campus engagement process."

Forums scheduled this month include:

• Human Resources Satellite Team, Monday, Jan. 13, 10 to 11:15 a.m., Memorial Union Room 211.

• Financial and Business Process Satellite Team, Tuesday, Jan. 14, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Memorial Union Room 208.

• Scholarship, Research and Creativity Core Planning Team, Tuesday, Jan. 14, 3 to 4:30 p.m., Memorial Union Room 208

• Financial and Business Process Satellite Team, Wednesday, Jan. 15, 10 a.m. to noon, Memorial Union Room 208.

• Student Experience Core Planning Team, Wednesday, Jan. 15, noon to 1 p.m., Memorial Union Board Room.

• Financial and Business Process Satellite Team, Thursday, Jan. 16, 3 to 5 p.m., Memorial Union Room 208.
