Study Guides

AP Biology class by UMN-eduToday’s students will make tomorrow’s decisions. OrB’s study guides are designed to help teachers inform students about the roles biotechnology plays in environmental health, economic viability, and social equity.

Our current challenges with food and fuel intersect with population growth and climate change. By 2050, we will likely be sharing the planet with more than nine billion other people.

Already, more than half of Earth’s habitable area is being used for crops or grazing and thousands of species have been pushed to the brink of extinction, yet one billion people suffer from malnutrition.

The goal? To produce more food and fuel with less land, less water, and less pollution.
