Reception for Alumni of Color & Friends
Oregon State is proud of all of our alumni and seeks to recognize their accomplishments and contributions to the university community and beyond. The Alumni Association regularly offers our alumni a variety of opportunities to engage with the network of more than 160,000 Oregon Staters worldwide. In conjunction with University and community partners, the Alumni Association creates events that connect alumni based on their region, their major, their year of graduation, their hobbies, and a number of other interests and affinities.
This May, the Alumni Association, the Office of Equity and Inclusion, and a number of other partners are pleased to provide an opportunity to engage the passion and energy of our alumni in our quest to be a model equitable and inclusive land grant university. In particular, we want to recognize both the challenges and opportunities that our diverse student populations may experience during their time at Oregon State. This reception is one important component of ongoing, comprehensive efforts to enact our deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and diversity as an enduring aspect of our institutional character.
Oregon State University is committed to building a more diverse and inclusive environment for our students, staff, faculty, and alumni. With this in mind, we invite you to join us for an opportunity to reconnect with fellow Oregon State alumni and friends, and to learn about new programs and initiatives that support our diverse student populations.
