We will host START sessions at the locations listed below. These are one-day sessions for first-year or transfer students. These sessions are open to all students, but are specifically targeted towards out-of-state student populations who may not be able to make it to one of the summer START programs in Corvallis.
2013 START on the road locations
Registration for START on the Road will begin, May 1, 2013.
May 31: Anchorage, Alaska
June 8: San Francisco, California
June 9: San Francisco, California
June 15: Honolulu, Hawaii
Program Fees
Due to the unique nature of this program there are some additional costs for attending a START on the road program. These fees help to cover the cost of travel for OSU staff, facility expenses, and catering. The costs are $125.00 for students and $45.00 for each family member.

Math Placement Test for START on the Road
START on the Road students will take an online placement test before attending START. This placement test is different than the one used by students attending START sessions on the OSU campus. The test will be taken using a system called ALEKS. It can be taken at any time, but it should be completed at least one week before the student attends START. All first-year students are required to take the test and many transfer students must also take it. To find out if you are required to take the test, please visit our Math Placement Test page.

Locations for each program is given in the electronic confirmation letter you received upon registration. To print or re-print your confirmation please log on to student online services, click on "admissions" menu and instead of registering for a START program you should be able to reprint your START confirmation.
