Thursday, May 1st

  • 2:00pm - 7:00pm | Healthy Masculinities Conference: "Genuine Masculinities: What is it to you?", The Healthy Masculinities Conference will provide an opportunity for OSU, the Corvallis community, and beyond to engage in dialogue about healthy masculinities and how healthy representations of masculinity make our campus and community safer and more habitable. We believe that offering alternative representations to negative masculinities is key to making this change, Memorial Union. Register here

Held in the LaSells Stewart Center and will feature visual as well as performance art.

  • 10:00am - 2:00 PM The Valley Library Take a trip back in time! Visit the special collections and archives research center on the 5th floor of the Valley Library to explore our treasures, learn more about how we preserve and celebrate the history of OSU, and watch a few historic films.

  • 10:00am - 3:00pm | Flying Club: Come out to the Corvallis Airport just 10 minutes south of OSU for a scenic flight above the OSU campus. We will have planes on display to look at and in the air to ride along with a flight simulator to try yourself. For a $20 donation, you will get a ride in the club's aircraft over campus and the surrounding area.

  • 10:00am - 12:00pm | Radiation Center Tours: The tours are intended to provide the public an opportunity to view the TRIGA Reactor and a variety of large-scale test facilities.  We can handle 200 or more visitors and the department's students are the tour guides during the event.

  • 10:00am - 1:00pm | O.H. Hinsdale Wave Research Laboratory Open House: tours every 5 minutes lasting 20 minutes: first-come first-serve basis. Learn about ocean engineering, waves and tsunami research, and observe demonstrations featuring the Tsunami Wave Basin, 220 Owen Hall

  • 9:00am | Give Us 5: 5k Fun Walk/Run for Cancer Survivorship: Registration is $25, register here. This event is to help fund a survivorship program for ALL cancer survivors in our area. Please join us for a fun and exciting event as we color for a cause, Benton County Fairgrounds
