How do I create a custom guide?
- To start adding listings to your custom guide, click the "+" icon next to the listing you wish to add.
- You can view the listings in your custom guide by clicking the My Resource Guide link in the right navigation menu.
Why isn't my guide being saved?
- The Multicultural Resource Guide stores a cookie to determine which listings you have added to your custom guide.
- A cookie is a small string of text that a website can send to your browser. A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from your hard drive, pass on computer viruses, or capture your email address. Websites use cookies to enhance the user's visit; in general, cookies can securely store a user's ID and password, personalize home pages, identify which parts of a site have been visited, or keep track of selections in a "shopping cart."
- If you delete the cookie created by the Multicultural Resource Guide, the listings you have added will be lost.
How do I view My Guide?
- You can view your guide in a web browser by clicking the My Resource Guide link in the right navigation menu.
- Once you have added one or more listings to your custom guide, when viewing your custom guide, a 'Download' link will be presented in the right navigation menu; click this link to save a printable PDF copy of your custom guide.

How do I submit a listing?
- To submit a listing click the Submit a listing menu item in the right navigation menu.
- Submissions require moderator approval before appearing in the Multicultural Resource Guide.
How do I submit changes to a listing?
- To suggest changes to a listing, navigate to the listing's detailed view, then click the 'Suggest an update' link.
- Suggested changes require moderator approval before appearing in the Multicultural Resource Guide.
How do I suggest removal of a listing?
- To suggest removal of a listing, navigate to the listing's detailed view, then click the 'Suggest removal' link.
- Suggested removals require moderator approval before being removed from the Multicultural Resource Guide.
What are tags?
- Tags are a convenient way of organizing listings by keywords in the Multicultural Resource Guide.
- Each listing is "tagged" with keywords related to that resource.
