OSU Experts Collaborate to Address Japanese Tsunami Marine Debris and Invasive Species

In response to growing concerns about Japanese tsunami marine debris and invasive species on the Oregon coast, the OSU Marine Council created an action coordination team (ACT) to serve as a source of up-to-date information on these issues. The team will also promote communication among involved parties at OSU and provide information on background and sources to keep abreast of new developments at OSU. The ACT also identifies the leads at OSU for components of science and research, education, and engagement at OSU, and how those relate to the role of agencies and others at state, local and federal agencies. Find out more by visiting the OSU Marine Council site.
