Request a Google Group

A request for a new Google Group should be submitted by one of the persons who will manage this group.

Your request is submitted to the OSU Computer Helpdesk for review. You may receive an email requesting more information. It may take a few days for your request to be fully processed and approved.

Your group's name and activities must not confict with OSU's Acceptable Use of University Computing Resources.

The text "-group" will be attached to the group email address. For example, if you request a group called "My Student Organization," your group email address will be my-student-organization-group@onid.oregonstate.edu.
