PROMISE: Professional and Managerial Internships in State Employment
PROMISE is an internship program designed to provide professional, managerial, or technical paid work experience in state and local government agencies for Oregon State University juniors and seniors. The program's purpose is to increase the potential pool of applicants currently under-represented in state and local government agencies. Students of color are encouraged to participate in our program.

Important Information for 2011
- Intern and Sponsor applications accepted (March – April)
- Internship Deadline Extended to April 29, 2011
- Candidates interview with sponsors (on-going basis)
- Final Selection (May 2011)
- Orientation /Program (Begins June 20)
- Poster Galleria and Recognition Luncheon (August 26)
