Timely Warning: Assault/Attempted Sexual Assault
On January 15, 2013, at 10:10pm, the Oregon State Police and Corvallis Police Department responded to a report of an assault in the area of 30th Street and Campus Way. The female victim was walking in the area when she was approached from behind by a lone assailant. The assailant struck the female victim in the head, knocking her to the ground. The assailant attempted to remove articles of clothing, but the female victim was able to fight back striking the assailant in the nose and fled the area. A law enforcement search of the area was unable to locate the assailant.
The lone assailant description is as follows:
RACE: White
GENDER: Male
AGE: Early to mid-20’s
HAIR: Short Dark
EYES: Unknown
HEIGHT: 6’00”
WEIGHT: Bulky
FACE: Thin faced with round bone structure and bushy eyebrows
CLOTHING: Black Hoodie Sweatshirt w/orange “OSU” with white outline on the front, Dark Blue Jeans/Dark Colored Tennis Shoes
UNIQUE FEATURE: Possibly has a broken nose or black eye
