A comprehensive directory of everyone in the OSU community is maintained by ONID, and ONID LDAP directory provides data to the campus online directory. Account authentication is provided for ONID services, Modem Pool access, Blackboard access, the Student Computing Facility and the Residence Computing Network, as well as for email, VPN, wireless [WiFi], and numerous web sites using ONID SSO [Single Sign On]. Active Directory is populated from the ONID directory. Email, file storage, and web space is provided for all current students.
