$21,275Summary Description
The University Honors College Learning Center had a brief existence on paper. It opened in the basement of Strand Hall shortly after the inauguration of the UHC in 1995, and students immediately rechristened the TRF-funded facility as the SLUG, for "Students Learning Underground." The SLUG is not only a computer lab for Honors students; it serves as the student-centered headquarters and study-center fort the 500+ students participating in Honors. In response to increasing demand for technology capacity, we propose to update both hardware and software on the fifteen desktop computers in the SLUG.Student Affairs

$3,200Summary Description
The project is to provide wireless coverage in parts of Snell Hall to provide service for student activities. There have been numerous requests for coverage, but lack of funding has been the limiting factor. This project will consist of purchasing wireless access points, plus some expenditure for wire-plant enhancements, as well as for the labor needed to install.[Updated: Thursday, December 01, 2005]
