Kate Peterson serves as Assistant Provost for Enrollment Management. Kate has worked in higher education for over 30 years, the majority of which was in student financial aid and scholarships. She was the recipient of the Western Association of Financial Aid Administrators Meritorious Achievement Award in 2005 and the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators Leadership Award in 2007. She moved into enrollment management in September 2005. In her current role, she has served as Chair of the High Achieving Student Initiative Workgroup, on the University Budget Committee, on the Student Affairs Leadership Team, as Co-chair of the Enrollment Planning Workgroup, and on the Oregon Higher Education Board Access and Affordability workgroups.
She received her bachelor’s degree from Washington State University and her M.ED in Higher Education Administration at the University of Idaho.
