ASOSU is the officially recognized student government at Oregon State University and represents all students in campus affairs and at community, state, and federal levels regarding issues that directly influence the quality of, and access to, postsecondary education.
ASOSU is entirely student directed. Students from all walks of life and disciplines get involved to effect social change at OSU, as well as developing leadership and professional skills in a diverse number of areas.
Problems continuously arise regarding student representation, educational costs, and various forms of political and social injustice that require attention from students. It is these areas that ASOSU strives to achieve concrete change on behalf of all students.
