Data Warehouse Extras Training

Prerequisites

You must have attended one of the SIS, HRIS, or FIS Data Warehouse classes
You must have Data Warehouse access and a working knowledge of the OSU Data Warehouse data and navigation
You must have a completed and approved Request for Access form on file

Training Format

Workshop (2 hours)

Step 1: Register at the OSU Professional Development website
Step 2: Download the Data Warehouse Extras handout and bring it to the class (preferrably accessible on your laptop, or printed as a secondary option)
Step 3: Attend the 2 hour workshop

Registration

Description

This is an optional workshop for each of the model series, and offers hands-on experience for current Data Warehouse users focusing on advanced queries and reports. The presentation includes advanced Data Warehouse reporting techniques, incorporated with desktop joins, super query editing, and modifying administrative level queries and buttons for custom reports.

Note: This is a fast-paced class that requires you already have a working knowledge of, and access to, the OSU Data Warehouse models.
