Equipment is checked out on a first-come, first-served basis and is only available to currently enrolled students for student organization events that are open to all students.
Equipment can be checked out for 48 hours. Once returned, there is a 48 hour wait period before the same type of equipment can be checked out again. There is also a 3 hour checkout option for laptops only that does not include a waiting period upon return.
All late fees ($25 per day/per kit) are automatically charged to student accounts.

An SMS student photographer or videographer may be available to capture images of on-campus student events. Up to one hour of imaging time is free; additional hours may be available for a fee.
All photography and videography captured by SMS students is owned by SMS and OSU and can be included in our SMS stock inventory for future student use.

Our turnaround time is 48 hours during normal business hours, Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm, excluding holidays. (Example: student submits a job at 3:00pm on Friday, the job would be finished by 3:00pm the following Tuesday.) SMS strives to exceed this turnaround, but it is not guaranteed.
Depending on staff availability, a rush order may be possible for an additional fee of $50. The fee will be charged to your student organization via purchase order.
All OSU logos must meet Brand Identity Guidelines. SMS will replace logos based on these guidelines.

The first ten standard paper copies are free of charge per event, double-sided, no folding. Please email SMS Production for any help with formatting your files or give us a call at 541-737-7964. Additional copies can be ordered for a fee up to a maximum of 50 pages.
Paper sizes are 8.5x11" (8x10.5" printable area) or 11x17" (10.5x16.5" printable area).
Files delivered in Microsoft PowerPoint/Publisher or Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign must be submitted in their native format.

Flatbed and transparency scanning is available for sizes up to 12x17". Two scans per event are available at no cost.
Feed scanning (up to 42" one side, no greater than an ¼" thick) that contains multiple layers must have all edges taped down securely.
