The Zone is scheduled to open in November 2012. Contact TAC for information.

Support Initiatives

TAC is currently involved in several key faculty support initiatives:

  • Supporting Courses at Large Enrollment (SCALE) - Identify issues, bottlenecks, and needs affecting course sections with 300+ students. Brainstorm, design, and facilitate implementation of solutions.
  • Educating for a Media Rich Learning Ecology - TAC staff are developing a curriculum in media use and creation for teaching and learning.
  • Educational Performance Instructional Coaching (EPIC) - A Consultation process based on OSU Performance Coaching strategies which enable the "coachee" to discover and implement personal solutions to challenging issues or areas of performance. EPIC will apply this process to improvements in teaching practices for individual instructors.
