The Netsvcs firewall migration scheduled for today at 10PM is complete, and all services are functioning normally. Most services behind the firewall were disrupted for less than 5 minutes. From 9 AM to 9:30 AM Sunday, the Exchange system will undergo maintenance related to the Outlook client delayed message issue experienced on 2/28. This is not an outage and will not adversely affect access to email during this timeframe.

Banner will be unavailable at midnight this Friday, March 1st, for our usual backups. Banner generally returns to service around 5:00am on Saturday morning. This Saturday, March 2nd, Banner will remain unavailable for three more hours, and return to service at 8:00am.

We are investigating the source of the traffic, and attempting to resolve the problem. Primary Contact: We are implementing an ActiveSync Throttling policy for Apple iOS 6.1 and 6.1.1 devices to address a known bug that is causing excess log growth on the Exchange servers. This Saturday during our regular maintenance window from 10PM to Midnight I will be patching the following systems: CN-Home, CN_Share, TSS-Data, TSS1, and TSS4. Network Services is investigating complaints of intermittent wireless issues. The issue appears to be centered on initially connecting to wireless and is independent of either OSU_Access or OSU_Secure. We do not have an estimated time for repair and are working to isolate the cause of the issue.

We experienced an outage on NWS-SQL2 between 1:45 and 2:15pm on Thursday, Feb. 7. NWS-SQL2 houses the following MSSQL 2000 databases: OSCAR_Net, ChemInvtry, and Tagprod.
