OSU Study Abroad Fair October 9
Meet with an Advisor
Meet with a Study Abroad Advisor
After researching your options, and attending a First Steps meeting, you will have a better idea what type of program is best for you. This is a great time to make an appointment with a study abroad advisor to discuss the program in more depth. Each of the programs listed on our Web site has the email address of the advisor for that specific program.
However, if you have narrowed your choice down to a region but not quite a specific program, the advisors below can give you general information about multiple programs. Please email the International Degree and Education Abroad (IDEA) office (intl.advisor@oregonstate.edu) or call 541-737-3006 to set up an advising appointment.
Teppei Hayashi - Latin America, Caribbean, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, and IE3 Global Internships
Rachel Faber Machacha - Europe, Africa, and Middle East
Kristy Spikes - Australia, New Zealand, UK, and Ireland
Lillian Read -- Asia
Meet with your Academic Advisor
Your academic advisor can provide you with important information regarding how your program fits into your degree at OSU. Talk to your academic advisor about what courses you still need to take to complete your degree. Once you know what courses you have left to take, you can work with your study abroad advisor to find out if similar courses are available overseas. Your academic advisor can help you determine what courses can be taken overseas and what courses need to be taken at OSU.
