SIT: Switzerland, Global Health and Development Policy
Students are based in Geneva with excursions to France and Croatia. Grounded in a framework of social justice, this program focuses on vulnerable groups, and critiques organizations that respond to their needs.
Classroom seminars are supplemented by lectures and briefings at international and nongovernmental organizations, including the University Hospital of Geneva , the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, and the World Health Organization.
Interactive research studies and field excursions in Switzerland and France deepen students' understanding of the challenges faced by organizations that foster public health, human rights, peacebuilding, multilateral diplomacy, environmental accountability, and sustainable development.
Geneva is a city in western Switzerland on the shores of Lake Geneva. It is an international center for many reknown international organizations, including the United Nations and the World Health Organization. Excursions include Paris, France, Bern and Lugano, Switzerland and Zagreb, Croatia.
2.75 GPA, Sophomore standing.

- Spring Term Programs: November 15
