CIEE: Sweden Uppsala University
Students take courses at the CIEE Study Center and through direct enrollment at Uppsala University.
Uppsala University is internationally recognized as one of the top universities in the world. It was the home of Linneaus and is connected to the Nobel prize. A true university town, Uppsala is Sweden's fourth largest city, located about 70 km north of Stockholm, and affords opportunities for rich campus life.
3.0 GPA, sophomore standing.
OSU Study Abroad Program Deadlines
Deadlines for OSU Study Abroad Programs:
- Summer Programs: March 15
- Fall, Year-Long Programs: April 15
- Winter/Spring Semester Programs: October 15
- Spring Term Programs: November 15
Programs may have alternative deadlines or extend deadlines. Confirm with your program advisor.
Students take a Swedish Language and Culture course with other CIEE participants and then direct-enroll in Uppsala Unversity courses taught in English.
