Good academic standing.
Dankook University's International Summer School involves having OSU Students teach English conversation skills to DKU students during the first three weeks. As a result, native English speakers are preferred.
Programs may have alternative deadlines or extend deadlines. Confirm with your program advisor.
Dankook University International Summer School is a 7-week structured program that provides native English speaking students opportunities to teach and lead small groups of DKU students in English conversation sessions daily for three weeks followed by four weeks of the Academic Program. The Global Village/English Village Language & Culture Internship allows native English speaking students to achieve personal gains through understanding the dynamics involved in teaching, management, lesson plans and interacting with other students. The Academic Program courses will be taught in English by international faculty from universities around the world and DKU. Each class meets four days a week, for three hours a day. OSU students may take up to two courses (6 semester/ 9 quarter credits) transferable to OSU. Students are advised to consult with their academic advisor and IDEA Advisor using the course syllabi as a reference.
