Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) campus in Guadalajara, Jalisco: The ITESM comprises Mexico’s largest and most diversified private university system, with over 96,000 students on 33 different campuses. Students on the OUS program may study at one of four campuses in the ITESM system: the main campus in Monterrey; the Guadalajara campus; the Queretaro campus; or the Cuernavaca campus either for a semester or an academic year. Each campus offers Spanish language coursework from basic to advanced levels, a variety of courses designed for foreigners, and regular university courses in a wide range of disciplines for those with sufficient Spanish language proficiency.

Campus Guadalajara is located in Mexico’s second largest city with a population of approximately 4 million. Founded in 1991 on the outskirts of the city, Campus Guadalajara is a beautiful campus with substantial green areas and striking modern architecture. In addition to an array of Spanish language and culture courses, Guadalajara offers students courses in international relations, communication, engineering, computer science, business, the arts and basic sciences, and architecture.

Location:

As the second most populous metropolitan area outside of Mexico City, Guadalajara is the capital of the State of Jalisco. A major trade, transport and commercial center today, Guadalajara has preserved its rich colonial architecture and heritage. These characteristics have earned Guadalajara the titles of “the most Mexican city” and the “City of Roses.” Portland, Oregon and Guadalajara have been Sister Cities for over 23 years.
