OUS: Korea, Yonsei University and Ewha Woman's University
Yonsei University: Almost all courses offered at Yonsei are open to exchange and visiting students. Graduate students can also take graduate courses with permission of the professor. In addition to Korean language courses most students take the majority of their courses in English from Yonsei’s Underwood International College, together with Korean and international students. Yonsei University traces its roots back to 1885 with the founding of the Yonsei Medical School. Today, Yonsei is often cited as one of the top three universities in South Korea. Yonsei’s student population consists of 29,086 students, of which 4,237 are international students.
Ewha Woman's University: While traditionally a women’s university, Ewha has developed extensive co-ed international and continuing education programs and has built a reputation for providing exceptional and highly personalized educational opportunities for students. Located in a safe university neighborhood in a bustling cosmopolitan setting, Ewha offers a serene and beautiful campus with a subway line just outside the main gate, providing easy access to the entire Seoul metropolitan area and beyond.
With 10 million inhabitants, Seoul takes its place among the world's great metropolitan areas. As the political and economic center of Korea, it is a fascinating venue from which to study Korea's increasingly important role in global politics and business. Seoul is blessed with an abundance of museums, cultural and entertainment opportunities, offering great opportunities to the student wanting to be at the crossroads of Asian cultures!
