Location:

Amman, Jordan's capital, is a rapidly growing city with an ancient history extending back at least 5,000 years. Despite its long history, most of Amman is quite new, having been built after World War II. The city is draped over several hills, has a bustling souk (marketplace), and numerous museums, art galleries, theaters, and cinemas. Amman is quite cosmopolitan, with inhabitants from all over the Middle East. Due to the considerable expatriate community, many television and radio broadcasts as well as publications are available in English and French. The city provides a safe and stable environment that is very manageable for students, while offering many opportunities for students to learn about the region both inside and outside of the classroom.
