OUS: China, Beijing Language and Culture University
Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) serves as an ideal base to help U.S. students begin to see China not simply as a homogeneous whole, but as a multi-faceted and multi-cultural country with a broad range of cultural traditions and perspectives. Campus provides a rich, student-focused environment, where you’ll find many opportunities to make friends from across China and to become integrated with campus life.
Throughout the centuries, Beijing has been the political and cultural center of China. Today, Beijing is the power center of China's efforts to become a modern regional and global economic force. The city is a dynamic home to both Chinese and multi-national corporations and a gateway from China to the world. At the same time, Beijing's ancient temples and imperial palaces provide an immediate connection to the incredible history of this country and her people.
