All OSU students are required to complete the OSU Online Study Abroad Application. By completing this online application, a non-refundable, $50 application fee will be charged to your OSU student account.

Architecture, Interiors and Dress of Western Europe
Please submit your complete application to the Office of International Degree and Education Abroad (100 Heckart Lodge) by Monday, February 20th.
Late applications will only be considered in the event that vacancies remain after the application deadline.
All study abroad and internship applicants are required to pay an application fee. See the Application Fee page for details.
A passport valid for six months beyond your program is required. Apply for a passport immediately if you have not done so already. Visit travel.state.gov for an application.
In a typed on page statement, please respond to the following questions:
- What do you hope to learn by participating in this program?
- Where have you previously traveled (domestic and international) and at what age were you when that travel occurred?
Please submit a paper copy of this essay to the Office of International Degree and Education Abroad (Heckart Lodge) by Monday, February 20th. Be sure to include your name and studnet ID number at the top of the page.
If you are not currently a Design and Human Environment major, please provide a letter of recommendation from an instructor or academic advisor. You may turn this letter in with your required essay (instructions are below.)

There will be three mandatory perparation meetings which all participants must attend:
- April 24, 6-8 pm, Milam 333
- May 15, 6-8 pm, Milam 333
- June 5, 6-8 pm, Milam 333
This program will have two required pre-departure meetings. Please contact Carmen Steggell at Carmen.Steggell@oregonstate.edu if you do not know the meeting dates.
All students are encouraged to visit their primary care provider before going abroad. Information about immunizations and travel health can be obtained from the Travel Medicine Clinic at Student Health Services.
File FAFSA and apply for financial aid for the term(s) of your program.
IDEA will submit a financial aid budget with your estimated cost of attendance to the Office of Financial Aid the term prior to your departure so that your aid award may be adjusted.
