Why you are here in the US and at OSU?
I wanted to study business, and in the U.S. there is a wealth of current information available along with highly respected, well educated faculty who have a great teaching style and who approach students on a more peer-like level. There are good financial aid opportunities for international students too. OSU has a strong international student organization that is supported by the University. I love the fact that I can drive to the Coast in one hour or go snowboarding not too far away. In the Pacific Northwest, there's a sense that you can emerge into who you really are....one feels freer.

Five things you love about OSU: The beautiful and diverse terrain of Oregon; that one's opinion matters and one can make a difference in this setting; that OSU has a beautiful campus; that OSU has a residence hall that specifically designed for students who wish to explore the concept of entrepreneurship; and lastly, the variety of clubs and cultural activities available on campus.

Best Tip for Living in the U.S.: Take responsibility for everything in your life, and your own attitude; being punctual and direct and this will be very helpful in the U.S.; make an effort to meet Americans

How has studying in the U.S. changed you?
I'm more organized and I've acquired a more logical thought process (rather than with a more emotional basis) and I've learned how to deliver an argument as well as be more open, one can't afford to be shy as an international student. I've also learned how to take initiative better.

How do you feel that your experience in the US will help you in later life?
I now have a network of friends from around the world

How have your perceptions changed about the U.S. and going to school in the U.S.?
U.S. Americans are very diverse and you can find a variety of people with different lifestyles and outlooks...those that love yoga, organic food and hippy culture as well as those who are more conservative and regularly attend church. The US also has many problems too, I realize, such as currency issues, drug abuse, and obesity.
