Abstract

The preservation of Rwandan culture in the diaspora is a complex issue that covers both time and space. As the Rwandans in the diaspora continue to be kept away from their nation, forced to expatriate themselves due to prosecution in Rwanda, it becomes increasingly difficult to stay in touch with what it means to be a Rwandan.
This Thesis explores the history and culture of Rwanda, and studies how the culture is preserved in the diaspora.
