Deborah Kohler has been an instructor and administrator in English as a second language since 1976. Her areas of international interest have included Japan and Yemen. She has been the academic/curriculum coordinator for three different ESL programs. In addition, she has worked extensively with students in individualized student learning labs. Ms. Kohler has been a teacher trainer with the ELI, the OSU College of Education, the Yemeni government and USAID. She retired from full-time teaching in 2003, but has continued to teach part-time since then.
