Nick advises students on the International Degree program at OSU through varying degree requirements to complete the major. In addition to general major advising, Nick assists students in the development of student theses topics, and he also instructs the Introduction to Thesis course (INTL 407) offered through the department. Nick works closely with academic advisors in all undergraduate colleges as students complete the program.
Nick has worked in International Education since 2007 and has taught various courses in high school and college since 2000. Prior to working at OSU, Nick worked as a study abroad advisor at the University of Oregon, where he also worked as a program manager for the Sustainable Cities Initiative and completed two masters degrees in the Department of Planning, Public Policy and Management. Nick has also worked in Alaska, rural Eastern Oregon, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and served for 4.5 years in the Peace Corps in Cameroon and Tanzania after completion of his undergraduate studies in Michigan and Australia. Beyond traveling, Nick enjoys hiking, biking, getting in or on water, skiing, singing and attempting to dance.
