Areas of responsibility:
LeAnn advises students interested in pursuing study abroad, internship or research opportunities in Latin America, the Caribbean and Spain. She is also the advisor and coordinator of scholarships for Education Abroad, including IDEA scholarships and nationally competitive education abroad scholarships such as Gilman and Fulbright.
Profile:
LeAnn has worked in International Education since 1996 and has enjoyed many opportunities to study, work and volunteer abroad. Before joining the IDEA team, LeAnn studied Comparative Literature in Italy, worked in International Programs at San Francisco State, served as Fulbright Program Advisor at Stanford, volunteered in Costa Rica and Nicaragua, led educational travel programs in Cuba and earned a master's degree in Nonprofit Management in Puerto Rico.
