What happens when you allow yourself to be ruled by fear? It’s a question at the heart of Tony Kushner’s historical drama “A Bright Room Called Day,” which will be performed April 14-18 as part of Oregon State University’s Holocaust Memorial Week.

Adel Abidin is part of the Visiting Artists and Scholars Program, sponsored by Oregon State University’s art department. He’ll deliver a free lecture at 7 p.m. today in Memorial Union 109, following a reception at 6 p.m. The public is invited.
