A documentary directed by Oregon State University professor Andrea Marks is showing at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City as part of an exhibit on Polish poster art. The 40-minute documentary, Freedom on the Fence, is a 10-year labor of love for Marks, an associate professor in the Department of Art at OSU.

Oregon State University will observe Holocaust Memorial Week April 28 to May 1 with a series of events that includes an appearance by a Holocaust survivor who was part of the historic Jewish uprising at the Sobibor extermination camp in Poland. This 22nd annual OSU observance also will include a look at another historic event, the Armenian genocide of 1915-16.
