Documentary Film on Acid Violence to Show at OSU

The documentary film, "Finding Face," which recently premiered at The International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights in Geneva, will make its Northwest premiere at Oregon State University on Tuesday, May 26.
The screening will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Gilfillan Auditorium, 2601 S.W. Orchard Ave., Corvallis. It is free and open to the public.
The film, directed and produced by Skye Fitzgerald and OSU faculty member Patti Duncan, documents the controversial case of Tat Marina, a young Cambodian woman who was attacked with acid in 1999.Documentary Film on Cambodian Women to Premiere at Human Rights Festival in Geneva

Oregon State University faculty member and Portland resident Patti Duncan, along with co-producer Skye Fitzgerald, will premiere their documentary film, "Finding Face," at The International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights, which takes place March 6-15 in Geneva. "Finding Face" screens on March 11 and 14.
The film, directed and produced by Fitzgerald and Duncan, investigates the phenomenon of acid attacks in Cambodia, the deliberate throwing of acid usually into the faces of young women.
