International scholars and program leaders visited the Asian and Pacific Cultural Center (APCC) at Oregon State University to learn about the cultural center's purpose, history, and services.

International Exchange Visitors were invited to a focus group to discuss questions relating to the scholar’s academic life, preparedness to coming to OSU, and challenges faced while in the United States.

Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) approval: Following a lengthy and detailed process, INTO OSU’s Academic English and General English Programs have been granted CEA accreditation, a 5-year designation, through August 2018.

As a senior in civil engineering, Jordan Machtelinckx has long enjoyed the technical aspects of engineering which spur him to think; but, it’s the combination of applying engineering concepts to the social and cultural environment that really get him going.

Helen Walters has long been drawn to multifaceted opportunities. Evidence of this can be seen with her choice of studies, the BioResource Research major, which is designed to lead to a career in management, research or outreach. Study abroad, another inherently multifaceted opportunity had been one of her ambitions since high school.
