H-1B Information Session
On May 9, 2012, Ms. Jennifer Doreen, Immigration Attorney, presented information on the H-1B visa and immigration status. The H‐1B is an employer‐sponsored, non‐immigrant category which allows persons who are not US citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. to work for up to six years in a specialty occupation. This general, introductory meeting was offered for OSU international students as a way to get information about the H-1B. This meeting was NOT designed for individuals who will be hired at OSU in H‐1B status.
