International student advisors are available to discuss visa regulations and your immigration status.
Scheduled Appointments
To make an appointment to meet with an advisor, call 541-737-6310 or stop by the International Student Advising and Services (ISAS) office in Heckart Lodge or the International Living-Learning Center (ILLC). Please check in with the ILLC Welcome Desk or the front desk in our Heckart Lodge location on SW Jefferson Way.
Appointments are generally scheduled for 20 minutes at a time. Advisors may refer you to other offices on campus for additional support as appropriate. If you are not able to keep your appointment, please contact our office in advance to reschedule.
General Inquiries
International Students: For general questions about your immigration status, you may e-mail an advisor at ISAS.Advisor@oregonstate.edu. An advisor will respond to your e-mail within 48 hours. Include your full name and OSU ID number (as applicable) in your message, and state the topic of your question in the e-mail subject line.
International Scholars and Faculty: Contact the appropriate advisor with questions about your immigration status. Click here to determine who your advisor is.
Note: Unless OSU is processing your employment-based immigration petitions (H-1B, Permanent Residency, etc.), ISFS advisors cannot discuss specific questions concerning H-1B and permanent residency petitions.
