International student and faculty advisors are available to discuss visa regulations and your immigration status.

Scheduled Appointments

International Students: To make an appointment to meet with an advisor, call 541-737-6310 or stop by the international student services office in A110 Kerr Administration Building. Our office is on the first floor as you enter the building on Jefferson Street.

Appointments are generally scheduled for 20 minutes at a time. Advisors may refer you to other offices on campus for additional support as appropriate. If you are not able to keep your appointment, please contact our office in advance to reschedule.

International Scholars and Faculty: Newly arrived scholars, please call 541-737-3006 or come to the 4th floor of Snell Hall to sign up for a check-in meeting at the reception desk. General Inquiries

International Students: For general questions about your immigration status, you may e-mail an advisor at ISFS.Advisor@oregonstate.edu. An advisor will respond to your e-mail within 48 hours. Include your full name and OSU ID number (as applicable) in your message, and state the topic of your question in the e-mail subject line.

Note: Unless OSU is processing your employment-based immigration petitions (H-1B, Permanent Residency, etc.), ISFS advisors cannot discuss specific questions concerning H-1B and permanent residency petitions.

Processing Time

Please allow for five (5) business days for processing letters, immigration documents, or other services requested from our office, unless other arrangements have been made. An advisor will contact you if additional information or documentation is required. Processing time for incoming student and faculty applications may vary by visa type.
