OREGON STATE UNIVERSITY

Approved Education Abroad Program Providers

The Office of International Degree and Education Abroad (IDEA) works closely the Study Abroad Advisory Committee to identify, carefully assess, and to approve a suite of external providers whose programs meet the academic and student service needs of OSU’s students. This extensive and official approval process guarantees that our students will earn OSU resident credit by participating on these programs. Additionally, OSU approved education abroad programs are the only programs that students can finance by accessing their OSU financial aid.

The current list of approved education abroad program providers is below:

  • AHA International
  • Academic Programs International (API)
  • American Intercontinental University (AIU)
  • Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE)
  • IE3 Global Internships
  • INTO Chinese Language Summer Program
  • Institute for Study Abroad- Butler University (IFSA-Butler)
  • Oregon University System International Programs (OUS)
  • Studio Arts Centers International (SACI)
  • School for Field Studies (SFS)
  • School for International Training (SIT)
  • Semester at Sea
  • SEA Semester

These approved program providers understand that they have to coordinate their OSU outreach with the IDEA advising staff and should not contact individual department staff.

Note: In addition to programs administered by external providers, OSU has many campus-wide and departmental exchange programs as well as short-term faculty led opportunities to promote international study. A complete list of all of OSU’s education abroad offerings can be found by visiting http://oregonstate.edu/international/studyabroad/programs/search

Please contact the office of International Degree and Education Abroad (541-737-3006) if you have any questions. Also, please let us know if there are other education abroad program providers that you would like to be evaluated for future overseas study or research opportunities.
