Thursday, February 13, 2014 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM

Research career paths are dramatically changing in a global environment.  The boundaries between disciplines, countries and research issues as we know them are disappearing and new lines are being drawn.  Navigating the landscape is challenge especially for early career professionals. Opportunities like Fulbright awards can be of great help.

Join us on Feb. 13 as Fulbright Fellows Dr. Menchie Ablan [population genetics in coral reefs], Dr. Brendan Cahill [ocean wave energy] and Dr. Thomas Newsome [reintroduction of dingoes/ wolves and their environment] share insights on what it means to be a global scholar.   The session will be moderated by Dr. Jo Albers (U.S. – biodiversity conservation and rural poverty policy) who recently returned to OSU following a Fulbright fellowship in Tanzania.
