Problem 5

5. Web-foot Acute Degenerative Duck Lethal Epidemic Virus, also known as WADDLE Virus, contains a linear, double-stranded DNA molecule with a size of 6.0 kb. WADDLE DNA is cut by EcoRI into three fragments: A = 3500 bp, B = 1500 bp, and C = 1000 bp; and by HindIII into three fragments: X = 3200 bp, Y = 2300 bp, and Z = 500 bp. When WADDLE DNA is cut with EcoRI and HindIII together, the following double-digestion fragments are produced: a = 3000 bp, b = 1500 bp, c = 800 bp, d = 500 bp, and e = 200 bp. Give the order of the double-digestion fragments (a, b, c, d, and e) along WADDLE DNA.

I want to know the answer!
