Your final course grade is based on the accumulated points built out of the weekly assigned tasks. Here is the point breakdown for these tasks:

The grading is based on a classic curve -
| 90% + | = | A |
| 80%-89% | = | B |
| 70%-79% | = | C |
| 60%-69% | = | D |
| 59%- | = | F |
Plus and minus grades (there is no "A+" or "F-") are used to reflect overall improvement, especially from the Composition #1 to the Composition #4 rewrite.
All students have the right to an explanation
as to how their grades are determined and to a
re-evaluation of any graded task. If you do have questions about your
