ERSTES EXAMEN: GER 342

DATE: Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006.
The exam will cover everything we have discussed/studied/read since the beginning of the term.
Part I. Short answer questions/items (20 pts.) There are no questions in advance for this section. This section will cover the material on the Web pages we have discussed (see below), what we have discussed in class (including the history of the Deutschlandlied from my lecture in class!), as well as biographical information on the writers we have covered thus far.
You must answer SPECIFIC questions taken from the webpages listed below. Think about what YOU would ask if you wanted a student to show his/her understanding of each page. You must respond in German or English with a few words or sentences.
Examples (not necessarily on what we have covered so far!):
- a. Was war der Deutsche Bund?
b. Nennen Sie einen Grund, warum der Deutsche Bund in der Geschichte des Staates Deutschland wichtig war!
- Wann und wo wurde XXXXXX geboren?
