Kennedy, K., & Molen, G. R. (Producers), & Spielberg, S. (Director). (1993). Jurassic park [Film]. Hollywood: Universal Pictures.

This film chronicles the promises and pitfalls of the imaginary ability of scientists to clone dinosaurs from DNA found in ancient organic matter.  It begins with horrific scenes of the experiment gone bad and then it gets worse.  One thread running through the plot is the conversation of the "chaotician" about the inevitability of disorder entering the system no matter how controlled it seems to be.

I chose this film because I used to be fascinated by dinosaurs and because everybody else was watching it and I did not want to be left out.  Also, I think the underlying chaos theory connection is important to my understanding of teaching.

I have several questions from the watching the film:

       Jean Moule

(For your information, although this is a little "tongue in cheek," it  took me 15 minutes to write.  I already had the APA format for the film, which is sometimes hard to get.  You could probably find what you need at <http://us.imdb.com/search>.  I have not given this draft to anyone to edit, so it may need some grammar work.  Also, I could have written a more complete summary.)
